This is one of our first articles, published in January 2011, whilst we were still living in sunny Kampala, Uganda…
Today was a quiet day and no “important” games to be watched and followed by my husband. This meant that we had a free Sunday and time to visit the botanical garden in Entebbe, where the original 1930’s & 40’s Tarzan movies were shot starring Johnny Weissmuller.
The following pictures are of some of the Vervet monkeys (Chlorocebus Pygerythrus) we encountered there.
Their blue testicles really are bright turquoise in colour and I didn’t have to assist with Photoshop – Really pretty, aren’t they!?
My husband thinks it might be a good idea to tattoo his eggs the same colour as he thinks it is quite attractive… 😆
How funny that you would write a story about the blue balls of vervet monkeys and then the story gets ranked first on google organic search.
No idea why but Google somehow knows when you write for people and when you write for search engines. Maybe if articles are too fully packed with SEO optimisation it’s a sign that an article hasn’t been written having real readers in mind? No idea exactly why, but we have many first on Google Search articles. 🙂
